Another 4,219 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, which is a new spike in daily data. With this, the number of infected people identified in Hungary increased to 90,988.
By the last day, another 90 coronavirus patients had died, bringing the death toll from the epidemic to 2,063 in Hungary since March. The daily mortality figure is also a new record.
Of the more than 90,000 officially infected, 21,232 were classified as cured and the number of active infected is currently 67,693.
Of those infected, 4,871 are coronavirus patients in such a serious condition that they need hospital care, and there are currently 355 people on respirators.
