In the last day, the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 1,025 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 39,862.
28 patients died, which means this is the deadliest day of the coronavirus in Hungary so far, never before have so many confirmed coronavirus patients died in a single day.
So far, 11,753 people have been classified as cured out of the nearly 40,000 patients registered since early March, bringing the number of actively infected people to 27,113. This is an increase of 281 from Monday morning.
According to a new dynamic data service requested in hospitals, the hospital cares for 1,519 coronavirus patients, 160 of whom are in such a serious condition that they require a ventilator.
The number of coronavirus patients seen at the hospital has risen by 101 since yesterday morning and six more are on ventilators.
