Club interim president Carlos Tusquets said Thursday that they will not be able to pay salaries to footballers in January, who will also receive late bonuses. He didn’t tell me when this would happen.

The Catalan club has been greatly affected by the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic. Management announced last week that it had agreed with members of the first framework to cut salaries in order to comply with the new La Liga restrictions.

Carlos Tusquets believed that he could fix the club’s financial situation at the end of the season, especially if fans could be re-admitted to games.
