One of the undersecretaries of state at the Ministry of Human Resources has been quarantined after a positive COVID test for mild symptoms suggesting a coronavirus infection, Emmi wrote in a statement.
It was not reported who of the 17 undersecretaries of state in the ministry contracted the infection, but it was stated that the NNK had carried out the necessary contact investigation and the first COVID test had been carried out for all concerned, the results of which would be communicated to the public. All affected ministerial workers are asymptomatic.
Previously, several members of the government had to be quarantined after attending a large-scale garden party. Ernő Schaller-Baross organized by the Under Secretary of State for International Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office and attended, inter alia Istvan Hollik, the communications director of Fidesz, who was also diagnosed with the infection.
