Three employees of the Óbuda Daisy kindergarten tested positive for coronavirus and entered official home quarantine.

Almost all the institution’s staff, since it was fully integrated at the beginning of September, may be affected, as well as some 70 children who attended kindergarten in the last two weeks of August.

Although three teachers from the nursery with two affiliated institutions, which have been confirmed to be infected by the coronavirus, are currently asymptomatic, the information to those involved (workers, parents and caregivers) has begun after the immediate notification to the epidemiological authorities. Kindergarten educators learned of their positive test results after screening provided by the program after a measurement procedure and confirmed coronavirus infection by a teacher working in another location.

The mayor of Óbuda-Békásmegyer, László Kiss, confirmed that epidemiologists had taken all the necessary measures in the district and ordered the complete disinfection of the institution’s building and courtyard.

Óbuda Daisy Kindergarten is closed indefinitely (restrictions apply to both member institutions).

Those not affected by the epidemiological measure will be treated at any institution in the district by prior agreement. In the event a parent / caregiver does not wish to receive preschool care, they can still do so without a medical certificate.
