Tolna County János Balassa Hospital in Szekszárd ordered a ban on visits from 6 a.m. on Tuesday due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the institution reported on its website Monday, according to the MTI.

According to the information, the hospital can only be entered after pre-screening, and an escort can only enter in justified cases, such as the father of a sick child. It is not possible to enter the hospital area by car, the transport of patients with reduced mobility is assisted by the hospital’s patient transport service and patient guides. The entry points for outpatient hospitals work in the same order.

Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Hospitals and Teaching University Hospital said Monday that Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Hospitals and Teaching University Hospital announced a total ban on visits to Szabolcs Hospital Group medical institutions. The measure valid until it is revoked affects the Jósa András Training Hospital in Nyíregyháza and its Sóstói út site, as well as all the healing departments of the member hospitals in Nagykálló, Fehérgyarmat, Mátészalka and Vásárosnamény.

On Monday, a ban on visits to the St. Lazarus County Hospital in Salgótarján was also ordered. The acting director general, Tamás Laczkó, told the MTI on Monday that due to the increase in the number of suspected cases of contagion, based on national data, he ordered a ban on visits to the entire territory of the institution, which is valid until it is revoked.
