The head of the Serbian civil protection organization has asked citizens to report to authorities if they experience noisy and crowded gatherings on New Year’s Eve, public service television RTV, which was seen by MTI, said on Wednesday.
Ivan Divac, director of the organization, said they would also check the epidemic precautions on New Year’s Eve, but since they cannot touch every house,
The public is asked to inform authorities where they experience the presence and volume of various people to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
The Belgrade Crisis Team has decided that cafes and restaurants will only be open until 6 p.m. on December 31 and January 1, instead of 8 p.m., while grocery stores and shopping centers will be open until 8 pm.
