There are no sponsor cars to rest in the garage.

Bayern Munich fined their French footballer Kingsley Comant 50,000 euros (17.5 million forints) for not training with the car he received from the sponsor, in violation of the club’s internal rules.

According to the Bild report on Friday, the striker went to train with his own car, a McLaren 570S Spider, because, according to him, one of the rear-view mirrors of the Audi he received from the sponsor was damaged.

Coman admitted his mistake in the newspaper columns, apologized, and offered to visit the Audi factory in Ingolstadt after the coronavirus epidemic ended, where he would turn in autographs.

Philippe Coutinho and Niklas Süle were also recently penalized by the club for not using the sponsored car.

The German automaker owns 8.33 percent of Bayern Munich. The parties have recently signed a new partnership agreement worth around € 800 million, which will run until 2029.
