The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in new Hungarian citizens, which increased the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 1984. Another 10 elderly chronic patients have died. This increased the number of deaths to 199, and 267 left the hospital after recovery, according to the government information website.

In terms of settlement data, the number of infected people increased the most in Budapest, Komárom-Esztergom County and Fejér County.
