The warning was issued after two workers from the public health system, the NHS, also had severe allergic reactions after being vaccinated. Both workers are better.

“People who have previously had a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, drug or food (such as anaphylaxis or those taking an adrenaline shot) should not receive Pfizer BioNtech,” the regulatory body writes.

The NHS health director added that “this kind of precaution is common with new vaccines.”

The British began mass vaccinations yesterday in hospitals, health centers and among those over 80 years old.
