György Bognár (Paks): – We played very passively in the first half before the show, the players who played their third game in six days felt they had no rhythm. We prepared for this by initiating two newer players at the front, Szakály and Harasti, thinking that we would replace Sakhban and Ricardo the Great as replacements. After the show and the dissolution of Szélpál, we could only change to the rear, which MTK took advantage of very well and deservedly won. In the second half, we even set out to put Sajban next to Adam, but that way we were less in midfield. I’m sorry that this is how this game went. We scored three very important points, we knew it would be difficult to break through Budafok’s defense. Thus, at the end of the year, the players were already showing fatigue, especially in such a wintery field, which does not make things easier. If we had beaten Juventus the year would have been even more perfect, however this year was a great success for the club and for all of Hungarian football as the national team also made it to the European Championship.
