The newly elected president of the United States, Joe Biden, urges Americans to wear masks in the first 100 days after his inauguration. He told CNN that he thought this could significantly reduce Covid infections. Biden put it this way, it’s only a hundred days of wearing a mask, it doesn’t last forever. With this, he thinks the exact opposite of the Swedes, who say that wearing a mask is a better way to prevent the spread of the virus.
According to Biden, if everyone wears a mask, the number of infections will be significantly reduced, and this will be helped by the introduction of mass vaccination. They also asked him if he planned to get vaccinated before being admitted and, if so, if he would do so publicly, as do Obama, Bush and Clinton, who would get vaccinated in front of the cameras. Biden responded that he would happily do so, and his newly requested health advisor, Anthony Fauci, also suggested that as soon as the first vaccine, which had been approved and commercialized, was ready, he would face the public to be vaccinated.
