Attila Kovács, the founding owner and managing partner of DVM Group and Horizon Development, passed away on February 10, at the age of 51, the company announced.

Attila Kovács graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Budapest University of Technology in 1994, followed by an internship in international architecture and project management in the United States, Sweden, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Professionally up-to-date and progressive knowledge has always been important to him, which is why he consciously strived for his vision to be nurtured by beautiful impulses from around the world, which he could also see as inspiration when shaping his own projects.

DVM Group was founded in 1995, an internationally recognized group of companies offering the most complex architecture and construction services in Hungary, and in 2006 launched its multi-award winning premium real estate development company, Horizon Development.

In addition to representing his own groups of companies and projects, Attila Kovács also saw the urban architecture of Budapest as a professional mission. In recognition of his work in the field of progressive development of Hungarian architectural culture and promoting quality of real estate development, in 2011 and 2018 he received the Public Award for Real Estate Player of the Year, the CIJ Leadership Award in 2016 and the Lipótváros city center in 2018. award. Between 2017 and 2019, he was vice president of the IFK (Real Estate Development Roundtable Association), where he participated in representing the interests of active property development companies in Hungary, as well as in their international professional appearances, he wrote in his obituary.
