MÁV had problems on the Szolnok and Pusztaszabolcs lines.

Trains are delayed on several lines on Monday morning: On the Budapest-Újszász-Szolnok, Budapest-Pusztaszabolcs and Budapest-Dunaújváros lines, travel time can increase up to 20-100 minutes, Mávinform said.

  • On the Budapest-Újszász-Szolnok line, trains were unable to run between Sülysáp and Újszász at dawn due to an overhead line failure. Since then, the error has been corrected, but due to congestion, the travel time is still 30 to 40 minutes longer and 80 to 100 minutes for trains arriving from Szolnok.
  • Passengers on the Budapest-Pusztaszabolcs and Budapest-Dunaújváros lines must wait between 20 and 30, sometimes 40 more minutes of travel.
  • The contractor did not finish the works in time for the start of the operation in the morning, so the trains could not run on the section between Kelenföld-Háros-Nagytétény-Diósd for a while. Since then, traffic has also resumed there, but due to a failure in the safety device, train traffic has slowed down and longer travel times are expected in the morning, according to the report.

The former editorial office of index.hu has essentially ceased to exist, the country has lost its most widely read online interface. This is one of the most serious blows to the independent Hungarian press and freedom of information to date. The number of independent power editorial boards is steadily declining, and those that still exist are trying to stay afloat in a growing headwind. At HVG, we persevere, not giving in to pressure to bring national and international news every day.

That is why we ask you, our readers, to support us, support us, join our membership and renew it.

And we promise to keep doing our best for you in all circumstances!
