The prime minister gave another interview to Kossuth Radio on Friday morning. Daily numbers for new coronaviruses were also announced: there are 4,440 new infections and 96 deaths. There was one argument for the debate on the EU budget: György Soros. It also turned out that Hungary got a 2.5 billion euro loan last week.

The interview was started by presenter Katalin Nagy at the European Union summit, where she quoted German Chancellor Angela Merkel as saying that Poland’s problems and the veto are a serious problem.

Who threatens whom here? He asked Viktor Orbán his first question.

“György Soros is threatening Hungary,” the prime minister snapped, referring to the billionaire of Hungarian descent on Thursday. In it, Soros wrote about what Fidesz would use the second wave of the coronavirus, mentioning the looting of the country and the repression of the opposition.

“Thank you very much for advising the European Union from New York in what you are instructing, but that is not your business,” he added. Orbán also explained that today “the most corrupt man in world politics is György Soros, who pays many politicians.” Those who are now attacking Hungary and Poland are all politicians financed by György Soros, he added.

According to the Prime Minister, the EU negotiations must continue and will eventually be agreed, even if Hungary and Poland have stopped them for the time being. However, he is more moved by the fact that lies about Hungary can be spread uncontrollably, only by those who do not know Hungarian and do not know Hungary.

“It is incredible that such an unscrupulous man, who is the son of our country, distributes such,” the Prime Minister returned to Soros once again for the sake of security.

Katalin Nagy then asked what should happen for Hungary to leave the debate. Orbán addressed immigration here and reiterated that we are being attacked in the European Union for the issue of migration. This is not new, the Prime Minister has spoken of this before, but if the argument is true is what we write in this article. Orbán called to those who are unaware that the budget debate is about money, much more about “whether the member states take loans together or not.”

If the debate drags on and the European Crisis Management Fund does not go live, Hungary will still launch the programs it wants. The development, the program will not be left behind because of the discussions with Brussels, because we can also take the credit. Orbán wasn’t happy about that, but he betrayed that

Last week, Hungary obtained more than 2.5 billion euros in loans, which the government will spend on developments.

“We have contracted half of this for 10 years and the other half for 30 years, which shows that Hungary is stable enough to have access to funds even in Western Europe,” stressed the prime minister.

There is also hospital capacity

Orbán then announced Friday’s coronavirus numbers ahead of official government briefings:

There are 4,440 new infections and 96 deaths.

It also revealed that there are 604 fans, which it says is a high number, but far from the end of capacity, with 1,689 beds equipped with fans still available. Many students also got involved in work, helping with sampling, testing, lowering their hats in front of our young people, said the prime minister.

Currently 444 kindergartens are closed, representing 15 percent of all kindergartens. 78 primary schools are closed, which is 3 percent of institutions. They switched to a partial digital curriculum in 525 elementary schools.

Antigen tests are necessary in social institutions and schools because they have requested them, answered the prime minister to the following question. Rapid tests detect 90 percent of positive infections and negative tests are 50 to 60 percent safe. So their results are mixed, but there is a lot of pressure on the government, those involved feel safer if they are tested, so they start. The massive tests will involve 2,000 college students – 1,000 drivers and 1,000 administrators, reaching even the smallest settlements.

Soon there will be a large-scale vaccination to be done on a similar system, so this is also a test.

Katalin Nagy asked if the number of infections below 5,000 in recent days means that the virus situation in the country is improving.

We must not wait, there is no evidence that the infection has started to slow down or that we have overcome the difficulty.

– Viktor Orbán summoned the medical director from the operational staff meeting this morning. Due to the fact that the infection now seems to stop, the numbers can also go up and down.

Vaccinations

Hungary has immobilized 12 million doses of vaccine, which will probably be enough. These are Western vaccines. We are negotiating with the Russians, the Chinese, the Israelis, because lives must be saved now, the point is that all possibilities are open to the Hungarians. They then decide which one they want to inject themselves.

By the way, most Hungarians would choose a Hungarian vaccine if they had a choice: Viktor Orbán cited a poll at the end of the conversation.

Did Orban and the EU really fall apart due to migration?

The government has also removed the immigrant card in the debate on the EU budget, but do the rule of law and migration have something to do with each other? Looking at the mummies and Fidesz arguments, this doesn’t really matter, as refugees can take their hats off almost any time since 2015, as they gladly do.

We will explain where the Orbán-EU party is now

The Hungarian government fell on the leaders of the European Union with unprecedented fervor after it was revealed that it could not avoid conditioning the payment of EU funds on the rule of law. Judit Varga spoke of hunger this week, Orbán took out the migrant card and everyone mentioned the Hungarian veto. But what are they talking about and who is right? EUrologus is tidying up the declaration of war ahead of the EU summit on Thursday.
