Five thousand people are needed for the action to be successful.

On Sunday afternoon, students from the University of Theater and Motion Picture Arts will organize a live network between the university and Parliament, the students occupying the Vas Street building announced Thursday.

They also produced a document, the so-called Carta Universitatis, on how they envision the dialogue on the future of the university. They want to take this melee to Parliament on Sunday. The chain of life will also affect the Faculty of Arts of the Eötvös Loránd University and the Pázmány Péter Catholic University. According to the actors, their initiative can be carried out with five thousand people.

It’s about who the petition would be delivered to on Sunday, since Parliament is not sitting down, and what a good idea it is to protest in this way during a coronavirus. A demonstration will also be held in front of the university on Friday afternoon.

The students blocked the entrance to the building in the early hours of Tuesday and want the board of trustees of the foundation that maintains the university to resign together with President Attila Vidnyánszky. There is no possibility for that, it was clear in Vidnyánszky’s interview with ATV on Tuesday.
