Coronavirus: the second wave, the second closure

Later than expected by many, but in mid-November, the Hungarian government also decided to try to curb the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic by introducing restrictions. At the time of the decision, 5,000 new infections had been identified per day and the number of deaths from the virus mostly ranged from 50 to 100 in 24 hours. The first step is partial closure, but how effective it is is questionable. Follow our news!

The government is launching an information campaign on the coronavirus vaccination registry. Pál Győrfi, spokesperson for the National Ambulance Service, will present the most important information in the short films released from Thursday, wrote Csaba Dömötör, parliamentary secretary of state in the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to the notice, registrants will be among the first to be informed of the latest information and when the vaccination will take place. The informational materials also emphasize that vaccination will be voluntary and free, and its order will be determined by the degree of risk.

In the spring, Győrfi asked the elderly to stay home, but since then the face of the government’s epidemiological information has appeared in several videos.
