A total of 10,000 doses are delivered to five health institutions.

According to RTL Klub Híradó, the first dose of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine will arrive in Hungary by plane early Saturday morning. The Budapest Liszt Ferenc airport has been under construction for months, so it will be able to receive planes carrying coronavirus vaccines in an appropriate way.

Incoming vaccines require a -70 degree cooling, so they come in a special temperature sensor box. The vaccine will be transported directly from the airport to South Pest Central Hospital, from where it will be transferred to four other institutions that day.

For the first time, tens of thousands of doses will be received, which will be used to vaccinate 5,000 health workers.
