In response to the events of recent weeks, the National Institute of Pharmacy and Food Safety has published a joint technical file with the European Medicines Agency.

The National Institute of Pharmacy and Food Health (OGYÉI) has issued information to physicians about vaccination against AstraZeneca. The document, co-authored with the European Medicines Agency (EMA), summarizes the events of recent weeks: several cases of thromboembolism, including deaths, have been reported after the use of the Oxford vaccine, so the EMA has analyzed the AstraZeneca security.

After the study confirmed the safety of the vaccine, in fact another study in the United States found it, it will be reused where it has been suspended for some time. However, in very rare cases, there may be a link between vaccination and low platelet count, according to the OGYÉI brochure, so doctors and healthcare professionals should warn those vaccinated:

Seek medical attention immediately if you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, leg swelling, and persistent abdominal pain after vaccination.

Those who experience nervous system symptoms, including severe or persistent headache after vaccination, blurred vision, should also seek immediate medical attention. Spotted bleeding a few days after vaccination can also be a problem if it does not occur at the injection site.

European Medicines Agency: AstraZeneca vaccine is safe

In France, Germany, Spain and Italy, the majority distrust the AstraZeneca vaccine, while the British have unwavering confidence in the vaccine.

According to AstraZeneca, there is nothing surprising in the 29 million vaccines that have just been introduced in Italy.
