The producer Tamás Lajos demands 88 million florins.

No agreement was reached, so the producer Tamás Lajos filed a lawsuit against the Central Foundation for the Research of History and the Central and Eastern European Society, led by Mária Schmidt, demanding 88 million HUF for not paying a barely a minute publicity film commissioned on behalf of the government. The lawsuit started Friday at 444 reported. The interesting thing about the case is that Tamás Lajos has good relations with the government, for example, he also became a member of the new Vidnyánszky board of the University of Theater and Cinematographic Arts.

The 56-second commercial should have invited people to the Freedom Concert on the 30th anniversary of Imre Nagy’s burial less than a year ago. The film was shot in Heroes’ Square, on a relatively tight deadline, and a contract worth more than 120 million guilders was signed.

According to the 444 report, the most important point of discussion in court was a song, as Mária Schmidt realized that the film would be better suited to the music ordered by the producer. Winds of change of the Scorpions, who, however, would have significantly discounted the cost of the film, as the right to use the song had to be loved. The CEO wanted more footage and also wanted Lighthouse the Great to be the narrator at the end, but this demand became official one day after the submission deadline. The production company Szupermodern Stúdió Kft. Also received the graphic element at the end of the clip days after the public foundation.

The public foundation not only does not want to pay half of the contracted amount, but demands even more from the manufacturer. The day after the trial, in October, producer Tamás Lajos, Krisztina Goda, original director Mária Schmidt and her right-hand man Gábor Tallai will also testify.
