Coronavirus: the second wave

Half a year after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, despite the fact that the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. According to the posters, the second wave also reached Hungary. Follow our news!

The national consultation was completed, the questionnaires were completed by 1,793,000 people, announced Csaba Dömötör, parliamentary secretary of state for the Prime Minister’s Office, on the government’s Facebook page. In his video, the Secretary of State thanked everyone who completed the questionnaire, since, according to him, each opinion strengthens cooperation against the coronavirus epidemic.

The Secretary of State also said that the current poll was the second most popular so far in terms of the number of respondents.

The questionnaires are already being processed and the results may be available in September. According to Csaba Dömötör

This will be very necessary because the second wave is around our necks. We need to prepare for a prolonged fight against the virus, and it is good to know what are the most important points of agreement among Hungarians.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán envisioned the following image on Kossuth Radio’s Friday morning show on how to complete questionnaires:

1.8 million people sit in the kitchen with the woman, or the man, or the child, they throw the government questionnaire in front of them and they don’t send it to hell, but they say, let’s see what it’s all about.

According to Orbán, this gives great strength to the country and also to the government.
