There is a lot of interest in vaccination, although it is only one percent of the population.

Coronavirus: the second wave, the second closure

Later than expected by many, but in mid-November, the Hungarian government also decided to try to curb the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic by introducing restrictions. At the time of the decision, 5,000 new infections had been identified per day and the number of deaths from the virus mostly ranged from 50 to 100 in 24 hours. The first step is a partial closure, but how effective it is is questionable. Follow our news!

In one day, more than 100,000 people registered to get vaccinated against the coronavirus at a government site set up for this purpose. This was reported on Facebook by Csaba Dömötör, secretary of state in the Prime Minister’s Office, who said that the Hungarian state had already ordered more than 17 million doses of vaccines.

The Secretary of State has indicated in particular that the registry website is open to anyone who wishes to receive regular updates on vaccination progress. Although Dömötör did not specify, hvg.hu wrote on Tuesday that the registrant would also agree to allow the Prime Minister’s Office, headed by Antal Rogán, to contact him by checking one of the options.

The number of independent publishing offices of power is steadily declining, and those that still exist are trying to stay afloat with a growing headwind. At HVG we persevere, we do not give in to pressure and we bring national and international news every day.

That is why we ask you, our readers, to support us, support us, join our membership and renew it.

And we promise to keep doing our best for you in all circumstances!
