The three independent members of parliament will be Momentum’s parliamentary “ears, mouth and eyes,” but that won’t make him a party member yet.

Momentum will establish an alliance with independent parliamentarians Ákos Hadházy, Bernadett Szél and Szabolcs Szabó, announced András Fekete-Győr, president of Momentum.

The politicians’ cooperation started with a demonstration against the “slave law”, then they campaigned together with the party’s MEPs and finally, in the summer, collected the consultation questionnaires together, Fekete-Győr listed, who appreciates the three politicians. With the alliance, their goal is for Momentum to also have “ears, eyes, mouth” in Parliament by 2022. They will not join the party based on the statements made.

On Wednesday, hvg.hu was informed that Hadházy, Szél and Szabó could be Momentum’s parliamentary candidates (or will be nominated in the pre-election), but according to Fekete-Győr, there is no decision yet.

With almost as many voters as Fidesz, elections cannot be won. We are lying, if we force voters to sit down, cooperation will solve everything – says Ákos Hadházy, an independent representative.

Hadházy's accusations are rejected by opposition parties in a joint statement
