According to the Minister of Human Resources, health workers embody the spirituality of the Hungarian state, which is nothing more than perseverance and struggle for survival.

Coronavirus: the second wave, the second closure

Later than expected by many, but in mid-November, the Hungarian government also decided to try to curb the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic by introducing restrictions. At the time of the decision, 5,000 new infections a day had been identified and the number of deaths from the virus mostly ranged from 50 to 100 in 24 hours. The first step is a partial closure, but how effective it is is questionable. Follow our news!

The Minister of Human Resources, Miklós Kásler, expressed his gratitude (that is, the appreciation of the population) to the health workers in his Facebook post: “And before your performance, the nation pays tribute as one person! , With respect!”

According to the minister, “modern health systems around the world today face a challenge that had not been experienced since their inception. However, the coronavirus epidemic is really testing healthcare workers, who are the mainstays of care systems. Doctors, nurses and social workers who work for our most deserving compatriots maintain their faith in the present and even more in the future of our society with their superhuman performance ”.

According to Kásler, who took over as director of the oncology institute, the “colleagues”, that is, the health workers, “embody the most glorious ideal of the Hungarian millennial state, which means perseverance and the noble struggle for survival.”

Kásler wrote, as a “minister of medicine”, that he knows that “the extremely exhausting work of everyday life is carried out with a commitment that reassures his carers and also his patients. By the way, Miklós Kásler is not the Minister of Health, as there is no such person in the Hungarian government, only the Minister of Human Resources responsible for health, in addition to many other areas. In addition, since the outbreak, Interior Minister Sándor Pintér has dealt with health-related issues, including the ongoing comprehensive reform.

“I ask everyone to keep our faith in the extraordinary times ahead,” Kassler told healthcare workers.
