The Secretary of State needed hospital care. It was tested twice for coronavirus, both negative.

Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó received pneumonia in February, which was acknowledged by the person concerned in a video interview with Blikk. However, the politician added that it was “before the season” and that investigations have shown that his illness was not caused by a virus but by a bacterial infection.

The politician traveled a lot at that time, visiting Brussels, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and New York, among others. “It was a very suspicious week,” said the politician, who later felt so bad that he needed hospital care. There they told him that he had pneumonia.

Szijjártó also shared that so far there have been two-time tests to detect coronaviruses, with negative results in both cases.
