On Twitter, the president of the European People’s Party is convincing members of the People’s Party to be fired from Fidesz.

“What else should Fidesz do to make everyone realize they just don’t fit our family?” Donald Tusk responded to the current scandals about Fides with this one sentence.

The Polish chairman of the European People’s Party has been at the head of the Conservative Party family for a year and has been harshly critical of the Hungarian ruling party from the start. Nor does it hide that, if it depended on it, Fidesz would no longer be a member of the Popular Party. However, he only sees a realistic possibility of this in the fall of next year; Until then, there will certainly be no political rally that can be held in person. However, according to Tusk, this cannot be done by videoconferencing. The Political Assembly of the Popular Party will deliberate on December 7, but the exclusion of Fidesz is not on the agenda for this reason.
