According to the BBC, as of March 24, a total of 30 of the 18 million vaccinated people had clotted since the vaccine was administered, 22 of whom had a cerebral venous thrombosis called CVST and 7 deaths.

According to the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, data shows that AstraZeneca’s benefits outweigh its risks. This opinion is shared by the WHO and the EMA.

It is not yet clear whether the blood clots that occurred have something to do with the vaccination.
