The NB I Újpest footballer has announced on her official website that Obinna Nwobodo will be leaving the club and continuing her career at Turkey’s cutting edge Göztep.

Obinna signed Nwobodo to Újpest in 2017 and since then he has played a total of 93 championships, 18 Hungarian Cup games and three El qualifiers for the team. The 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder scored a total of 15 goals and 22 assists with the Újpest t-shirt.

As is well known, Göztepe recently signed Ujpest’s 25-year-old Bosnian left-back Dzenan Burekovic and former Hungarian national goalkeeper Balázs Megyeri.

The acquisition of Nwobodo has not yet been officially announced by the Turkish band.
