András Fekete-Győr was among the candidates of a Romanian party before local elections on Sunday. This is not the first time that the president of the Momentum has opposed the Hungarian candidates on the side of the Romanians.

Municipal elections will be held in Romania on Sunday. DAHR and the Transylvanian Hungarian Association (EMSZ) will cut it to the September 27 elections with numerous Hungarian mayoral candidates and Hungarian parliamentary candidates.

Momentum’s sister party, the Bihor County Liberal Party Organization, the Romanian USR, posted a video in which András Fekete-Győr once again urges Hungarians in Transylvania to vote for the candidates of the Alliance of the Romanian Party (USR-PLUS).

Update: The video has since been removed from Facebook, as shown below, but we will make it available to Origo readers:

Here is the location of the original video, which is no longer available on Facebook:

As we wrote before, This is not the first time the Momentum president has done so as he also encouraged Hungarians to vote for USR-PLUS candidate Dan Barna in last year’s presidential election, against Hungary’s DAHR candidate Kelemen. Hunor.

“We want to ask you to support the USR-PLUS candidates whenever you can,” says the president of Momentum in the USR-PLUS video.
