Agreement has been reached on the terms of the future relationship between the UK and the European Union, writes the BBC.

Downing Street welcomed the agreement in a statement. The British prime minister’s office emphasized that the island nation had regained control of its money, borders, laws, trade and fisheries.
At the press conference, the Chief Negotiator said, among other things, that the UK does not participate in the Erasmus program, so in the future British students will not be able to travel and study at EU higher education institutions as part of a student exchange program.
Britain decided in a 2016 referendum to leave the European Union. After more than four years of negotiations, Brexit has come to an end today and the agreement that has just been approved will end the UK’s secession from the European Union.
The negotiated agreement will establish a completely new partnership and economic relationship with the UK.
Starting next week, after an 11-month transition period following the end of British membership in the EU in January, the UK will end the freedom of movement of people in the EU and introduce immigration-based rules in a scoring system.
