Amazing photos were taken of an isolated strain – Their genetic disorder makes them special – Terrace

Because it is far enough away from us, we know little about Indonesia, but its beautiful beaches, jungles, and diverse culture are at least known to all from photos. As the whole country is located on islands of different sizes and is the fourth most populated place in the world, it is a true melting pot of different ethnic groups.

It is precisely because of variety that genetics sometimes plays such an amazing game with the appearance of the people who live there that they marvel at it from all over the world. However, the closed tribe of the small island of Buton was still little known.

Tribe members live in a fascinating pair of blue eyes

The natives were immortalized by Korchnoi Pasaribu, an amateur geologist and photographer also from Indonesia, on the island of Java, as he felt that everyone needed to see how special the people were there. Some members of the tribe have a genetic disease called Waardenburg syndrome, which in most cases causes visual or hearing impairment, but has manifested as dark blue pairs in the people of Buton Island. Some have given an even more special heterochromia by nature, which means that the color of one of their eyes is completely different from the other.
