As they say in the video, two weeks later, a German laboratory also found traces of Novics on one of the bottles collected from the room. Based on this, it is concluded that Navalny was already poisoned there, in the hotel.
Russia initially rejected the investigation into the matter, saying that until the poisoning was proven, there was nothing to investigate. In view of the inaction of the Russian authorities, Germany has now requested the assistance of the OPCW, the global chemical agency based in The Hague, to investigate the alleged poisoning. They took samples from Navalny for examination in their specialized laboratories. The results of their investigations will also be shared with Germany, Reuters reported.
