The Teachers’ Union (PSZ) knows of three teachers who have died as a result of a coronavirus infection, writes 24.hu. According to the newspaper, the deceased teachers taught in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Budapest and Vas counties. None of them, 444 of whom also wrote, were mentioned for the first time in the official statistics, only after our questions.
The Teachers’ Union has repeatedly asked decision makers to evaluate teachers and exempt them from work.

PSZ has previously conducted a survey among teachers, which showed that teachers’ fears about the rapid spread of the coronavirus are increasing. But the government doesn’t think it’s a problem, they say the current level of protection in schools is sufficient.
