A few weeks ago, Ákos Hadházy became an independent member of Parliament when Péter Szijjártó flew in a police helicopter to a program in Tolna in the summer, where he awarded a scholarship to a company. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs later justified the use of the helicopter to the MP as follows: “He will only travel by helicopter if it is essential for the performance of his public functions. “
Now an eyewitness has appeared in Hadházy, who claims that the minister landed at a restaurant in Szekszárd that day, where he had lunch first and only then switched to his official program. He also posted photos of the helicopter next to the restaurant, the photos can be seen on Ákos Hadházy’s Facebook page.
A Dunakeszi resident informed Hadházy that he had recently seen Péter Szijjártó land by helicopter at the city’s airport four times. Szijjártó lives in Dunakeszi, and the witness presumes that the minister occasionally takes a helicopter home from work.
So far, Hadházy has asked the Foreign Ministry in vain when and why the foreign minister is using a police helicopter, has received no response. The MP is now trying to extract the data.
