On Tuesday morning, Áron Szemző, the municipal representative of Momentum Budakeszi, was assaulted at the Budaörs police headquarters, writes Magyar Hang. The deputy had to spend Tuesday morning at the police station because he painted a zebra two years ago in front of a primary school in Budakeszi.

Szemző writes on his Facebook page that when he painted a zebra for the primary school (which also has a kindergarten and a nearby bus terminal) in the early morning of September 11, 2019, he did not act arbitrarily: residents have been demanding paint for pedestrians for some time to cross to school. In the case, however, the proceedings were initiated and now it has reached the point where it has been stolen, fingerprinted and photographed. The deputy said that he did not commit a crime by painting the zebra and therefore complained about the suspicion. “I do not believe that those in Hungary who have to solve real problems should be prosecuted. Those who steal billions of public money every day should be prosecuted,” wrote the politician on his Facebook page, who said it was important to note that the Police were very fair to him.
