The Zalaegerszeg District Court arrested a 35-year-old man for harming a person under the age of 18 for violation of personal liberty and suspicion of a crime of bodily injury, the Zalaegerszeg General Court informed MTI on Saturday.
The court ordered the arrest of the suspect for 30 days due to the risk of flight, hiding, repetition of the crime and making proof difficult by influencing the victim and witnesses.
The background was reported by Zala Hírlap on Saturday after reporting to the Zala County Attorney General’s Office. According to this, the 35-year-old man from Nagykanizsa came into closer contact with the young woman in April, who also moved in with him. On October 4, the girl and her girlfriend entered the city with a car, causing the man’s anger, so he followed them and then forced their car to stop on Zrínyi Street.
The man dragged the girl out of the car by her hair, then dragged her to his apartment, discarded and abused her there, on suspicion of cheating on her. The next day, the man did not release the girl, whom he had hit again, and put a dog collar around her neck, strangling her.
Finally, the girl was able to notify her mother in the afternoon, who went for her. She left the apartment with a strap around her neck and was hospitalized for her condition after her nasal bone was broken as well as bruising all over her body.
The man, who had been punished several times before, fled the apartment, being seized by police Tuesday on the roof of a two-story house.
