A few minutes before ten o’clock in the morning on Sunday, a report was received at the Activities Management Center of the Budapest Police Headquarters that a man pointed a gun on the tram 1 in Florián Square and grabbed one of the passengers.
Óbuda police arrived at the scene in five minutes. The perpetrator who landed at Vörösvári út was captured at the intersection of Bécsi út and Fárokorki út. Patrols have 53 years from Budapest In Zsolt P. they also found the gas pistol.
Police discovered that Zsolt P. was listening to loud music on the tram, so one of the passengers told him. The 53-year-old then pulled the gun out of his fanny pack, waved it, and grabbed the woman, who silently warned him. No one was injured in the incident, the man did not fire with the weapon.
The BRFK has launched an investigation into the armed harassment case, and a man is being held responsible.
