A drunk man asked two others something funny at a gas station in Tatabánya. In response, one of them knocked him down without saying a word. He did all this with such brutality that the man later died in hospital.

The man was taken to a hospital where he underwent life-saving surgery but could no longer save his life and died on November 8. The Tatabánya police detained the attacker and then the Komárom-Esztergom County Attorney General’s Office filed a charge against him for fatal bodily injury. The indictment suggested that the man be detained pending conviction for risk of recidivism and that he be sentenced to prison and excluded from public affairs.
