In the Napa Valley, in the northwestern part of California, they have gained new strength and wildfires are spreading very rapidly. More than 34,000 people had to be evacuated from their homes at dawn – overnight – in an area of about 4,500 acres, and the fire department notified another 14,000 people that they were ready to move, writes MTI.

Some famous vineyards have been completely caught in the flames.
Reports in the US media attest that many are considering permanently moving from the countryside. Napa Valley and neighboring Sonoma County, which is also a famous vineyard and wine region, were already victims of a fire in 2017.
More than a thousand soldiers also help firefighters in extinguishing work, trying to stop the fire from helicopters.
According to a California fire department, wildfires have been burning in 8,100 locations in an area of approximately 1.5 million hectares at a time since Aug. 15, taking the lives of 26 people and burning thousands of buildings.
The US National Weather Service forecasts that heat and drought are still expected in California, with wind gusts of 85 to 95 miles per hour in some areas, predicting further spread of the fire.
