News that a young woman saw a bear on the Szente border in Nógrád county hit the internet Thursday night, Nool wrote.
Zsófia Saliga published her adventure in a Facebook post and later told the portal the story.
I was pedaling through the forest, the route I always do. I was already on my way home around 6pm when I noticed something moving in the middle of the dirt road which was large and dark in color.
He remembered the girl who at first thought what she saw as a dog.
After a good minute, he moved again, raised his right front leg and released it. By then I knew it was a bear. It could have been 30-40 meters from the animal. After another minute, I decided not to wait any longer and, taking a step back, slowly began to walk away from him. When I could no longer see the animal from the trees, I wrapped it up at home in another way.

Bear sightings have been common in Nógrád in recent months. In April this year, a family of wandering bears was seen in the Mátra, which was also seen in Etes in May, and then a stray bear was photographed on the edge of the Archbishop’s Garden in June.
