The Kaposvár District Prosecutor’s Office has formally charged a 40-year-old man with serious bodily injury and danger on the road, first endangering and then abusing a cyclist during a traffic conflict in violation of traffic regulations.

The man was driving to Deseda in June, when he noticed a victim rolling in front of him on the road despite the bike lane he had built, who he steered, then drove his car in front of him, threatening his limb with a stop of ” criminal brake “.

The man then got out of his car and cursed and held the cyclist responsible for not driving on the bike path. There was a frantic mess between the parties, during which the motorcyclist, fearing the man, pushed his bike in front of him, which the driver ripped from his hand and threw it into the ditch.

During the fight, the bicycle hit the ground and several blows hit him in the face. The driver’s act was also seen by approaching motorists trying to restrain the man and notifying the Kaposvár police. The cyclist suffered serious injuries, including broken cheekbones, which healed for more than eight days as a result of the abuse.

The prosecution asked the driver for a prison with suspension of probation by prohibiting him from driving.
