A British laboratory found out why a British mutant of the coronavirus is causing a more serious disease

Experts at the Hungarian-owned Neumann Labs diagnostic laboratory came up with a surprising discovery after analyzing data from the results of PCR tests taken at their facility.

According to his measurements, people infected with the British variant have 10 times or even 20 times more virus than those infected with the old traditional variant.

“The nucleic acid-based PCR test shows not only if someone is infected, but also how many viruses are presumably in their body. We have already identified the British variant in about 95 percent of our 3,000 tests per day recently, but what? It’s even scarier that we measured many more viruses in these samples, on average 15 times more than in previous first and second wave Wuhan virus infections, ”emphasizes Miklós Nyíri, CEO of Neumann Labs.

The lab researchers came to this conclusion by examining a sample of 1,500 British mutations.

By looking at the number of new infections and deaths per day, the data we measured confirms the scientific assumption that the amount of virus found in a person’s sample may be directly proportional to the severity of the disease.

Furthermore, it is even conceivable that the British variant is more contagious by about 50 percent because patients simply produce more virus so they can transmit it more easily. Unfortunately, it is also quite clear that this mutation has become dominant, 95% of the infections detected in Hungary may be related to the British mutant, while we have only found a few cases in South Africa ”, adds Miklós Nyíri.
