Geometric series, graphs and functions, sets, and surface calculus: Such tasks were assigned to students in the first part of intermediate mathematics, writes Eduline.hu.

High school graduates receive two assignments.

The first contains 10-12 tasks, which verify the knowledge of basic concepts, definitions, simple connections.

This year, graphs, functions, pie charts, and mode and median calculations will appear in this part of the exam. But students were also given a task on angles and geometric series of triangles. There may also be some true to false or multiple choice tasks on this worksheet.

Students have 45 minutes to complete the first worksheet, and when time is up, supervising teachers collect the sheets.

Solving these tasks can earn 30 points: The second part of the math course, which consists of longer and more complex tasks, will be worth more points, and candidates can earn a maximum of 70 points.

Last year, the second set of tasks became so difficult that the collection of signatures started due to the reduction of the point limits, which finally became nothing.

They are given 135 minutes for the second worksheet. This test is divided into two parts. Part A contains three tasks, the tasks consist of one or more questions. Part B consists of three tasks with the same score, of which the candidate chooses to solve two, and only these two can be evaluated.

Probability and Percentage Calculations, Equations, and Functions – Also included in Part Two of Part Two, which consists of longer, more complex problems.

Csaba Csapodi, professor at Eötvös Loránd University, will also help to solve the mathematics graduation starting at 14:00 in the afternoon.
