the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla In relation to the Ubisoft series announcement, we dove a bit into the background world of the Ubisoft series, which has been spreading out nicely and tangled since the launch of the first game, thanks to countless sequels, novels, and comics (and adaptations). of movies). In our previous article, Assassin’s Creed We have introduced the world’s main evil on duty, the Templar Order in charge of introducing the New World Order, and now is the time to find out who is usually at the happiest end of the hidden sword that cuts through the throats of the Templars.

The philosophy and main objective of the Assassin Brotherhood

As mentioned in our previous article, the ultimate goal of the Assassins and Templars is practically the same, that is, to prosper humanity and lead to a better and more peaceful age. However, while the Templars sacredly believe that this can only be achieved by building a New World Order where power is concentrated in the hands of a narrow elite, the Assassins believe in the collective embrace of humanity and in the education of humanity. tolerance and peace.

According to the Brotherhood of Assassins, people can only end the coveted most beautiful and best future at the end of a slow and difficult development process, and the Templars would do nothing but shorten this process by introducing the New World Order, which it could not lead to lasting results.

Perhaps it is already considered from the above that assassins (on paper and in general) are more human than members of the Templar Order. They value and protect human life while helping the weak and oppressed, believing that everyone has the right to a peaceful life and free will, regardless of skin color, gender or religion. However, it is worth noting that while personal freedom is highly valued, it does not mean that they are anarchists: they basically have nothing to do with governments while serving the interests of the average person.

Another characteristic of the Assassin Brotherhood, in addition to humanism, is its skepticism of extreme proportions. Assassins profess that no one is infallible and that nothing is impossible, and therefore they constantly strive with an open mind to address any issue they face. Among other things, the legitimacy of the New World Order is questioned because of its skepticism: since they believe that no one is infallible, the world cannot be left to a small group of people, such as for every situation No one can know the good solution.

The working method of the Assassin Brotherhood

While the Templars feel more at ease in a world of political machinations and, if necessary, do not shy away from the outbreak of complete wars to achieve their goals, the Assassins believe in the quick and discreet elimination of key figures in their legs. According to his philosophy, in this way, the death of one person can lead to the well-being of thousands of other people, so respect for life here or there, the murderers (like their names and all Assassin’s Creedthe game also shows) they were never afraid of any murder.

In this regard, it is also worth mentioning that although the brotherhood deeply believes in the goodness of humanity as a whole, this belief does not apply to all individuals to the same extent. Or, according to the Assassins, the world is full of people who are simply too wicked and too selfish to be taught understanding, and with these individuals there is simply nothing to start with, they must end their lives for society to flourish.

History of the Assassin Brotherhood

Like the Templars, the Assassins trace the origins of their brotherhood back to the beginning of human history: although the first Templar was traditionally Cain, we can honor Adam and Eve in person from the first Assassins. The murderous lineage started from them, and although the fraternity itself was founded only around the year 50 a. C., the members of this lineage had defended humanity long before. These include, for example, Leonidas, and the assassin of Xerxes, the first user of the iconic hidden sword, Darius, just to name a few examples.

The Brotherhood Murderer was finally founded in 48 a. C. by the Egyptian Bayek and his wife, Aya, when they realized that their country was essentially ruled from the shadows by a secret organization, the Order of the Ancestors, also known as the predecessor of the Order of the Temple. The first assassins successfully expelled the Order of the Ancients from Egypt, but they were squeezed not only here but also in Rome, for example, when, with the help of the Senate, they ended up with one of the most powerful members of the order, Caesar.

After its formation and the temporary liberation from Egypt, the Assassin Brotherhood slowly expanded its influence across the world, but a truly spectacular expansion began only when the Templars were revealed and entered the public as the Order of the Temple. From then on, the assassins’ murders became more open for the Templars to know that they really didn’t listen to what they were doing, and soon after, their methods and weapons were completely reshaped with the help of the legendary Altair.

The Brotherhood of Assassins has also not stopped crossing the plans of the Templars in modern times. They killed, for example, Genghis Khan, an ally of Genghis, the Spanish conqueror, Pizarro, and Queen Mary of England, and in 1307 they were able to account for almost the entire Templar Order when they turned against IV. King Philippe of France and Pope Clement V. The Brotherhood’s last large-scale murder was in 1971, when they ended up with the President of Haiti, but then tried to switch to more peaceful methods, which almost resulted in their loss.

The fall of the Assassin Brotherhood

Although throughout history Assassins have successfully challenged the Templars and in most cases thwarted their plans, Assassin’s Creed Currently, the fraternity is little more than a few dedicated and desperate agents, while the Templars seem to have all the money and resources in the world at their disposal through Abstergo. These unfortunate states were led by the events of the early 2000s, which both sides referred to as the Great Cleanup.

The problems began in 1998, when the Templars managed to get a brainwashing agent, Daniel Cross, to enter the ranks of the Brotherhood. Daniel was treated, received, and taught by the assassins as his own companion, and he was the looking for their leader a He toured most of his secret bases over the next two years. When he finally found the legendary Mentor, who was in control of the entire fraternity, he finished him off with his hidden sword, and then revealed the coordinates of all known Assassin hiding places in front of the Templars, who did not hesitate to shoot down their former enemies.

the Assassin’s Creed in the present, the brotherhood still groans after this brutal and effective cleansing. Although the assassins who survived the Templars’ plague attempted to reorganize, the odds are, to put it mildly, against them. And will they finally be able to stop Abstergo’s machinations? Probably just that Assassin’s Creed de Valhalla we will know the answer.
