After his hasty defeat, the Northern Irish boxer retired, Carl Frampton.

and then in the sixth he shook him again with a blow, after which, although the Northern Irish fighter would have continued the fight, his assistants threw in the towel.

The 34-year-old Frampton suffered his third loss in the 31st game of his career and, as he had previously promised, ended his career with this, wanting to live for his family from now on.
Frampton was previously world champion in two weight classes, lightweight and featherweight, but was unsuccessful in the third category.
