The personal information of 533 million Facebook users has been leaked

The personal information of five hundred and thirty-three million Facebook users is freely available on the Internet, writes Business Insider.

The data is several years old, but the fact that it is still available is another example of the vast amount of information collected by social media and the fact that it is sometimes unsafe.

All 533,000,000 Facebook records were leaked for free.

This means that if you have a Facebook account, the phone number used for the account has most likely been leaked.

Facebook has been struggling with various data security issues for several years, the AP news agency reported, according to MTI.

According to Business Insider, the data pertains to Facebook users in 106 countries and includes full personal names, usernames and passwords, phone numbers, residences, dates of birth, and email addresses.

In response to the current report, Facebook as a company wrote in a statement: “This is old data, its free availability was revealed as early as 2019, and then we solved the problem.
