According to the Prime Minister, not everyone in the country is an educator, but they have started vaccinating those who work in public education. We asked the president of the National Faculty of Education, Péter Horváth, on the hvg.hu podcast, in Fülke, a few hours after receiving the vaccine. And it also turned out what scenarios exist for graduation.

Educators want to work, said Péter Horváth, president of the National School of Education in La Cabaña, shortly after being vaccinated against the coronavirus at a vaccination point.

Shouldn’t this have happened much earlier? What will happen to graduation? Is there really an anti-teacher attitude in Hungary? How will students get back what was lost? After all, they had to prepare in much more difficult circumstances than their predecessors and, hopefully, their descendants. And what about parents who can still get infected through their children? We also discussed this with Péter Horváth.

The number of independent publishing offices of power is steadily declining, and those that still exist are trying to stay afloat with a growing headwind. At HVG we persevere, we do not give in to pressure and we bring national and international news every day.

That is why we ask you, our readers, to support us, support us, join our membership and renew it!

And we promise to continue to do our best for you in all circumstances!

If the government wants to be sure about vaccination, it is early to open the school on April 19.

The vaccination of teachers is of the utmost importance, which is why those involved have been fighting for a long time. But it is equally important that everyone develops the proper level of protection before returning to school. Although little depends, in the case of vaccines used in Hungary, according to the current schedule, this will not happen to everyone by the April 19 deadline. For this reason, the union also asks Viktor Orbán to postpone the planned inauguration.
