The Hungarian Medical Chamber compiled a detailed problem map of covid care experiences, which was presented to Sándor Pintér by President Gyula Kincses on Tuesday. The document refers to the fact that, at the request of the Minister of the Interior, the territorial bodies of the Chamber have formulated certain problems and proposals.

“The Hungarian Medical Chamber considers it important that the Minister is also interested in the observations and feelings close to the bed / collegiate, so we asked the county presidents to compile the problems they perceived,” begins the letter, which can be read here.

The letter lists the following problems:

  • Doctors do not know how remuneration for voluntary overtime will develop, and in several places the level of the on-call fee is unclear. The Legal Regulation of the Health Service gave the directors of the institutions 8 days to inform the staff. This deadline is long overdue.
  • Outpatients in specialized care fear not knowing what will happen if the institutional system is transferred from municipal maintenance to state management.
  • Community GP commitments cannot be fulfilled in GP care. Therefore, many may lose the promised salary compensation in this regard.
  • The administration involved in the implementation of the vaccination plan places an additional burden on GPs and those working in hospitals integrated with hospitals are concerned about manageability. In this context, they point out that it would not bother them in terms of comfort if they had to work away from home, but in terms of security of supply.

The proposals made by the IOC suggest new problems. For example, they call for the extension of local decision-making options, for patients to be transported rather than for doctors to be remotely, and for mental health support to be provided.

But the suggestions also include the visit of a consultant to the hospitals to verify that the ventilations work correctly because “there are many irrational or qualitatively unacceptable solutions.

This was also reported today by the Rtl Bulletin, which shows that the death rate from invasive breaths can reach 95 percent.

A separate chapter discusses the problems and suggestions for vaccination, which are as follows:

  • It is a widely held opinion among GPs that vaccinations should not be organized in hospital practice and vaccination points, but in large-scale sports facilities, theaters and schools.
  • Vaccines could involve private healthcare workers or qualified volunteers, freeing up staff.
  • The organization of vaccination points would be adapted to local conditions, in which pediatricians and primary care dentists could also help.

The MOK problem map highlights that it would be important to present in detail the situation and problems of the hospital in the government media, since, while they write, they do not, while the opponents (sic) this is served magnified.

On Wednesday, several editorial offices, including 444, issued open letters on the subject.
