Géza Varga, Jobbik’s former agricultural politician, died at the age of 75, Gábor Vona announced on his Facebook page. Between 2010 and 2014, Géza Varga was a Member of Parliament for Jobbik. He was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and chairman of the Common Agricultural Policy Subcommittee. Gábor Vona said goodbye to him like this:
I was surprised to learn that Géza Varga, an excellent agricultural specialist and former representative of Jobbik, had died shortly before his 75th birthday. Rest in peace, Géza!
Géza Varga was also commemorated by the Jobbik Movement for Hungary. Deputy Zoltán Magyar Jobbik wrote: Géza Varga’s dedication and knowledge were outstanding, he always did his job with humility, which was exemplary, adding that he learned a lot not only from him about the profession, but also from humanity.
