Former Secretary of State for Energy Péter Kaderják did not spend a day in his new position.

When the acclaimed specialist was unexpectedly relieved of his post as secretary of state earlier this year, it was about landing another important job. And indeed, on March 12, László Palkovics, Minister of Innovation and Technology, issued an instruction on the appointment of Péter Kaderják as Commissioner of the Battery Industry.

His task was to create a development strategy for the ever-expanding Hungarian battery industry and to support the establishment of the Hungarian Battery Association.

Then it appeared in the Official Gazette: the quote was “2021. from March 15 until the revocation of his appointment, but for a maximum of two years.

However, in this issue of the same official gazette on Friday, March 19, this ministerial instruction appeared: “I will revoke the appointment of Péter Kaderják as Ministerial Commissioner with effect from March 15, 2021.”

That is, the appointment was not valid for any day. There is no justification, as is often the case with personal decisions.
